I need some help!

OK, girls, I need your help. While blog stalking (which seems to be so popular right now) I came across someone who was about to give birth. She was looking into hospital gowns that you could order in your own fabric, a website that offered nursing gowns as well. Any one know where I found her? She was a friend of a friend, that's all I can remember. I've been searching for that website for days, and I've been going through each of your friends lists, and I just can't find it! So, if you have any idea who I was stalking, could you let me know? Thanks!

Weigh in and new do

Today D'Laney saw Dr. Patyrak to follow up on the low weight issue. She now weighs....18 lbs. 8 oz!! Almost 2 pounds in just over 4 weeks! Dr. Patyrak was very, very pleased. Actually, I think he used like 4 very's. We can now wean her off of formula in the next few days and start on whole milk and solid foods. I was so happy. I can tell she's gained, but I was worried it wouldn't have been enough and we'd have to do something else. What else, I don't know, but now I don't have to worry about it.

We also had to get her 12 month boosters today. 5 shots went into my poor baby, and she did not like it and let me know. After each shot she looked at me like, how dare you let these people touch me? I don't think I've ever been glared at by a toddler before. But she only cried for a couple minutes and has been happy go lucky as usual every since. She's a little feverish, but not enough to slow her down. I'm going to keep giving her tylenol through tomorrow just in case. A happy side effect from tylenol is drousiness, so maybe I'll get to sleep through the night! (Does that make me a terrible mom? Wanting my kid doped up so I can sleep?) Oh well!

I also wanted to share these pictures. D'Laney has quite a lot of hair. It's a pretty shade of brown and kind of wavy like her daddy. However, it's all on the back of her head. She's pretty much bald on top. Yesterday she was sitting on my lap watching TV and I got to playing with it, thus...

And she loves this baby doll that Dustin and Amy gave her for her birthday. She carries it around singing to it and gives it hugs and kisses. She's practicing for those little boys!!

Oh yeah!! Cameron is quitting snuff!! He hasn't had a dip all week, as far as I know. If you can't tell, I'm a little excited. I'm so proud of him, I know that this is a hard, hard thing for him.

More of Keva's pictures!

Isn't Keva talented?

This picture is just for D'Laney's daddy.

She is so beautiful, if I do say so myself!

my little rock star

I can't figure out how to rotate this picture, but we get this little head to the side look from her all the time.

My aunt made this doll from material that my great-grandmother had for years, so it means alot to us. Grandmother Ford died the year before D'Laney was born at the very young age of 97.

My favorite, I think.

So angelic...

Aren't they wonderful?! Keva did an amazing job. I have no idea how I'm going to choose which ones to frame!

now it's working

At the game

Keva's pictures

Again, ignore my voice...

Lazy weekend

D'Laney and I went down to Iraan this weekend for a baby shower for the little Grigsby boys. They'll be here next month! Cameron had to work sat so it was just the two of us. We left early friday so we could catch the Iraan Braves football game that night. Cameron's niece Loren is in 7th grade and is marching with the band. D'Laney wore her Braves gear, and as much as I hated it, she looked really cute in black and red. I told my mother-in-law that standing and clapping for the Iraan fight song made me feel like such a traitor. (I hummed a few bars of the Wall fight song to make myself feel better!) We spent saturday morning helping Barbara get ready for the shower. Around lunch, a friend of ours, Keva Fowlkes, came over to take some pictures of D'Laney. She has just gotten into photography and is very, very talented. She has emailed me a couple pictures that she took, and they're wonderful. I can't wait to see the rest of them. The shower went great, Dustin and Amy got a lot of cute stuff for their little ones. D'Laney and I came home right after the shower and spent the rest of the night watching football with Cameron. Sunday, we visited the church in Garden City, went and got some awesome BBQ, then spent all day long laying around watching football. No housework, no phone calls, no nothing, just football. It was great! And this morning, it's storming! What a wonderful way to wake up, I love storms!

I didn't get any pictures from the shower, and I only got a couple from the game. Here's those, the pics that Keva took, and a video of D'Laney singing the itsy bitsy spider with me. Completely ignore the fact that I have a terrible voice. As good as Cameron's voice is, that's how bad mine is. We balance each other in every way!

Actually, it's not letting me post pictures right now. I'll try again later today.

Look at that smile!

D'Laney loves climbing on and in things. We moved her to a forward carseat a few weeks ago and haven't put her old one in storage yet. I came out of the kitchen the other day and found her in it and got this picture:

Isn't she the cutest thing ever?!
